Peter Davis

Peter took up post as Catholic Senior Executive Leader in January 2021. Prior to this he held several posts at Assistant Director level in both unitary and County Council settings across England.

Peter is a qualified Social Worker with 32 years’ experience and graduate of Coventry, Birmingham, and Sussex Universities. His qualifications also include CQSW, BA Hons (Applied Social Science), MSC Management Public Sector, and Advanced Award in Child Protection.

Peter is committed to Catholic Education at both Primary and Secondary levels and brings experience of both leadership and management of:

• SEND services and services for with young people with complex disability particularly Autism.

• Children’s/Adults safeguarding at board level.

• Strategic change management

• Leadership and coaching

• Management of significant budgets

• Partnerships building skills at local, regional and national levels

Formerly, Peter has been Chairman and Trustee of the Coventry Irish society working to promote cultural awareness and pastoral care of the Irish community. Formerly Board Member and Trustee of The National Autistic Society – the largest provider of services for the autistic community in the UK.

Peter attends the Church of the Precious Blood and All Souls RC in Coventry where he is a commissioned reader.

Janice is an enthusiastic business professional with a genuine passion for seeing young people and staff succeed where she recognises the Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company has an opportunity to provide enhanced learning experiences for those children attending its Catholic schools.

Specialising in the education sector on a national basis since 1995, Janice has a solid and proven track in delivering strategic and operational project leadership support encompassing Catholic Life, Leadership and Management, Governance, Educational Standards, Estates Management, Marketing, HR, Risk Management and Financial Performance. Janice has managed budgets of up to £24m and led teams of staff of 750+. This has all been endorsed by the Department for Education, Education and Skills Funding Agency, Headteacher Board, External Audit, Local Governing Bodies, Nottingham Roman Catholic Diocese Education, Diocese of Hallam, and Birmingham Diocesan Education Service.

Janice sets high expectations for herself and others, delivers on promises and demonstrates excellent organisational and communication skills, with outstanding financial acumen. She is a strong strategic thinker, with a spirit of enterprise, zest, and excitement.

Janice lives in the parish of St George and St Teresa RC Church.

 
Michael Lee

Michael is a passionate, self-motivated and customer focused individual with over 20 years of experience in finance, accounting, audits, reporting and operations and has most recently been working in multi academy trust settings on a national basis. Michael is a qualified Accountant and Auditor.

Michael has strong credentials in streamlining financial operations and serving as a catalyst for high productivity, cost reduction and improving quality of service. He is highly skilled in investment appraisals, performance management, business processes re-engineering, balanced scorecard, business modelling, budgeting, forecasting and variances analysis. He is also highly adept at multi-tasking on several assignments, resolving conflicts, mentoring team members, and possessing excellent decision-making ability. Skilled in managing ethics & compliance drives, investigating various cases, and maintaining records as per policies.

Michael is dedicated, hardworking and consistent with a high degree of flexibility, creativity, resourcefulness, commitment, and optimism and can work to demanding time schedules to meet goal orientated deadlines.

 
Daniel Wilks

Daniel is a qualified Accountant who has most recently been working on the delivery of financial support and advice to Local Authority maintained schools, including support with workforce planning, budget planning and monitoring and short and longer term forecasting.

Daniel is keen to further develop financial systems and processes within a MAC setting, as well as assit with the training of new staff and governance compliance.

Daniel manages the interface between the MAC and School Finance Teams and is a key player in ensuring regulations within the Academies Financial Handbook are successfully met by schools.

 
Jane Martin

During Jane’s career to date, she has worked across both the business and Catholic education sectors, where she has gained a wealth of diverse experience in the areas of administration, finance, and human resources. Over the last decade, Jane has worked in schools as Bursar and Office Manager where she has successfully worked with Headteachers, Senior Leaders and Governing Bodies as well as mentored and managed teams of staff.

Jane has sharp attention to detail and is a highly skilled communicator. She is used to working in a regulatory body to ensure compliance is met, including GDPR, systems, policies, and processes. Jane is particularly proficient in safeguarding and is keen that Catholic Life of the MAC, schools, and its communities are supported, promoted, and celebrated.

Jane has been an active member of Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company during its infancy where she was initially part of the MAC Business and Operations Team. Jane has further engaged in supporting the MAC Estates Strategy Working Party, Branding Working Party and Headteacher Network Meetings.

Jane was part of the Accounting and Budgeting Working Party where she was a key player in the decision to procure ‘Access Group’. She soon became a ‘super user’ and has engaged in supporting other School Business Managers in the schools across the MAC.

Jane is further keen to embark on work of the MAC Well-Being Strategy linked to her recent Mental Health Advocacy study, especially in these strange and difficult times with COVID-19 and looking at how as a MAC we can support all members of our community and progress out of the COVID-19 situation strong in mind, body, and faith.
