Meet the MAC Board of Directors

Paul Bentley

Chair of Directors

Paul is experienced in technical, marketing and sales roles in the IT industry. Most recently he has led sales engagements within the global banking sector

 

Paul is a Foundation Director of Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company.

 

Paul was educated at St Peter’s Catholic School in Solihull, Keble College in Oxford and Manchester Business School.

 

Harold Hands

Vice Chair of Directors

Harold is a retired general practice Chartered Surveyor with experience in property management and risk management throughout the West Midlands area.  In particular, having a sound knowledge base on the construction of buildings and their maintenance.

 

Harold is a Foundation Director at Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company and is joint Vice-Chair with Stuart Plimmer.

Mary Johnson

Directors

Mary is a committed Catholic, happily married, with four grown up children -three of whom are teachers. She firmly believes that Catholic Education must uphold the shared vision that each child is unique and made in the image of God. Catholic Education must should be inclusive and reflect gospel values such as love, faith, truth and equality of opportunity for all.

 

Mary is a retired Head Teacher where one of her Catholic Primary Schools was awarded “Outstanding” OFSTED accreditation (2011). At the same time the School was given an “Outstanding” Section 48 Religious Education Inspection.

 

Currently, Mary remains as a Section 48 Inspector and is a Foundation Director within Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company.

Stuart Plimmer

Vice Chair of Directors

Stuart is an accomplished Senior Sales Director having previously held responsibility for businesses in the UK, China, India and Singapore. Currently retraining as a Teacher of Maths, and enjoying the challenge. Married with 3 children who have attended primary school and secondary school in the MAC.

 

 

Stuart is a Foundation Director at Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy Company and is joint Vice-Chair with Harold Hands.

 

Clare Madden

Director

Clare has recently retired from a 30 year career in Catholic Education, working in several Catholic secondary schools across Birmingham and Solihull. For the final three years, she took on the role of Catholic Senior Executive Leader of a Multi Academy of 8 schools.

 

Clare considers it a privilege to have been able to live out her personal faith within her professional life, putting Gospel values and the preferential option for the poor at the heart of each and every decision.

 

Clare is now enjoying spending more time with her family and friends, her little grandson in particular!

 

However, wishing to continue her contribution to Catholic education, Clare is currently a registered Catholic Schools Inspector and has now joined Our Lady and All Saints Catholic Multi Academy as a Foundation Director.
